A week of exchanges and discoveries with students from Singapore’s XCL World Academy

From 26 to 29 May, our school had the pleasure of welcoming a group of students from Singapore’s XCL World Academy as part of an exciting international partnership. For four days, our pupils and their Singaporean counterparts shared a variety of activities combining culture, science, sport and collaborative projects, in a spirit of openness, curiosity and fraternity.
On the programme for this intense week: joint artistic workshops, scientific challenges, cultural visits and shared moments of school life. Each activity has been designed to encourage language exchange and cooperation between pupils from the two schools.
Among the highlights were a morning of scientific experiments and an outing to the Kuang Si waterfalls, which was greatly appreciated by all the participants.
These days enabled strong links to be forged between the pupils, as well as between the teaching teams. They highlighted the importance of interculturality in our educational pathways, while reinforcing the feeling of belonging to a global school community.
We would like to say a big thank you to the XCL World Academy teachers for their commitment, and to our teams who contributed to the success of this wonderful event.
We look forward to seeing you again next year!
