On Friday 22 September 2023, the Ecole Francophone de Luang Prabang had the pleasure of welcoming the members of the France - Laos Friendship Group of the French National Assembly: Mr Bruno Millienne, MODEM MP for the 9th constituency of Yvelines, Ms Nadège Abomangoli, LFI MP for the 10th constituency of Seine-Saint-Denis, Mr Anthony Brosse, REN MP for the 5th constituency of Loiret, Mr Marc Le Fur, LR MP for the 3rd constituency of Côtes-d'Armor and Ms Karine Depincé, Karine Depincé, Advisor and Debate Editor at the National Assembly. Mrs Marie Roger, head of the school, Mr Henri-Pierre Leveillard, treasurer of the management committee and Mr Gilles Vautrin, honorary consul in Luang Prabang, gave them a tour of the school and explained the challenges, successes and difficulties of a French school in Laos. The MPs concluded their visit by expressing their support for our school and for the entire French community in Luang Prabang. We would like to thank them for their keen interest in our school.
